Exactly what I wanted! July 15, 2010 K. M. (Philadelphia, PA USA) Setup was very simple, it's small, it prints relatively quickly and the print quality is great! This is exactly what I was looking for in a compact photo printer. I just hope it lasts for a long time without any problems. But as of now, excellent product.
WARNING: Canon does not supply the driver for this printer if you use Mac OSX Snow Leopard July 12, 2010 N. Lui (San Francisco) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a good printer.. IF it actually worked!!
I bought it for a photo booth set up at an event this weekend and was really frustrated that the USB cord was not included. Once I was able to get a USB cable hooked up so I could print the photos directly from my Mac, the printer was not recognized. I went to the Canon website to download the right driver to install. I was very disappointed to find that Canon does not make a driver for computers running that run on the Mac OSX Snow Leopard platform.
This is a fatal flaw on Canon's part. Snow Leopard is a widely used operating system that's been out for almost a year. Because I was unable to install the printer driver, I could not print any photos that night. The only way I could print was through saving each image to an SD card and loading it in the printer. Now, if only I had an SD card and SD card reader that night.
The prints themselves are great, once you go through this tedious process of getting the printer and computer to communicate. But I am incredibly disappointed with the fact that Canon has not created an up-to-date printer driver for Snow Leopard. Be warned.
Ease of use is a huge plus May 17, 2010 jinwen (CA) We recently used this printer for a scrapbook guest book at a wedding. We took pictures of the guests, took out the memory card, inserted it into the photo printer, and was able to print the photos at the wedding for the guests to create a personalized scrapbook page for the bride and groom. The printer was real easy to set up, and required no additional software or a computer to use. Replacing the ink and paper was likewise real easy. It did take about a minute for each picture to print, but the photos looks gorgeous. Definitely recommended.
Love it April 7, 2010 Josephine (Cranford, NJ United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I researched a lot before buying this printer. The main reason I went with this is because it was so compact and the price to print pictures (paper and ink) was a lot cheaper than other printers out there. The printing is easy and the quality is also great. I was amazed with the first picture I printed. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

This priter is quick and easy to use and unlike the printer that I have connected to my computer, it is compatible with my camera.
